Manchester - The Manchester Essex Regional High School is looking for donations of used books, CDs, DVDs, videos, and audio books. The school has placed a drop-off donation and reuse container for residents, businesses, schools, libraries, and other groups who wish to contribute books they no longer have a use for.
The ‘Got Books?’ container is in front of the school on 36 Lincoln St. Donations can be made by the public at any time. Funds raised through book donations will benefit the Class of 2009.
Books could be donated to schools, libraries, and other groups in need, sent overseas to the troops, given to teachers for classrooms, or sold in book sales and online.
Got Books is a North Reading-based organization dedicated to keeping books out of the trash. Got Books raises money for local charities and nonprofit groups through book donations. For more information, visit www.GotBooks.com or call 978-396-6026.
